Introducing: Better ChangE™
Change
Every business has challenges that require change. Some challenges are in plain view:
- you’ve outgrown your business software.
- an acquisition forces integration of different applications.
- a new strategic initiative drives a significant shift in operations.
While the challenges are clear, it is simply not enough to meet challenge with change. It is Better Change™ that is imperative.
Truth
We speak uncommon truth. At Pivot Point, we aren’t a bit afraid to tackle the tough issues, unencumbered by legacy or political issues when interacting with internal or other external resources.
Tools
We understand what could change. Our Change Management Framework™ puts our business philosophy into practice. We will never tell you what you should do to change. Together, we’ll identify what you could do. Then, you decide what you will do.
Experience
We have real-world experience. We’re in-the-trenches consultants who’ve sat where you sit. We bring a realistic perspective to the opportunities and challenges you face.
What does better change mean for your strategic initiative?

Before Better Change

After Better Change
Our approach to change matches what your organization does naturally.

CMF™ was developed to help our clients envision a natural process to identify, embrace and benefit from Better Change. It describes 5 distinct service offerings that build on each other to allow all levels in the organization an understanding of what change will be made and the strategies that will be used to implement the change.
Each service offering is completed based on a statement of work (SOW) that clearly defines what will be done, who will do it, when it will be done and how much it will cost.
If you decide to execute an SOW for a specific service, that service may include subsets of typical previous service areas. For example, you can decide to engage us to perform an Agnostic Software Selection. When you do, our SOW for the selection project may include some components (either full or abbreviated) from the Assess, Calibrate and Document offerings.
Our Software Decision Framework™

One of the biggest decisions any organization will ever make is in regards enterprise applications. Our Software Decision Framework was developed to help organizations make an informed, team-based decision regarding the functionality, expectations and change required to select, purchase and implement a new software infrastructure.
Our SDF helps organizations decide on various types of enterprise software including:
- Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
- Warehouse Management (WMS)
- Supply Chain Management (SCM)
- Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Financials.
When combined with our assess and document steps, your organization will be prepared and understand what needs to be done, how it can be done, and how much it might cost. Keep in mind however, cost associated with an enterprise application is always a “relative” term. An organization’s willingness to change, its ability to manage change and its ability to plan for contingencies is critical in understanding the true cost of an enterprise application deployment.
